These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Ken Install. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to abide by the terms outlined below.
1. Scope of Services
Ken Install provides audio-visual installation services for residential and commercial clients. Our services include but are not limited to TV mounting, Free-to-Air Satellite and Saorview installations, home network setup, cable management, and LED lighting installations. Ken Install reserves the right to modify, expand, or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.
2. Estimates and Quotes
Phone and email estimates are provided based on the information supplied by the client. These estimates aim to give a clear overview of expected costs but are subject to change if circumstances differ from what was initially described. Final costs may vary if additional equipment, time, or adjustments are required upon assessing the actual installation site. Clients will be notified of any significant changes to the estimate prior to proceeding with the work.
3. Booking and Appointments
Appointments are scheduled based on availability and client preferences whenever possible. Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact information and ensuring availability on the scheduled date. If an appointment must be rescheduled, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Ken Install reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, such as staff availability or adverse weather conditions.
4. Payment Terms
Payment for services rendered is due in full upon completion of the installation. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work commences. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfer, or cash. Outstanding balances may incur late fees if not paid within the specified terms.
5. Warranty and Liability
Ken Install provides a limited warranty on workmanship for 30 days following the installation date. This warranty covers issues directly related to the quality of the installation. Any faults or defects caused by misuse, accidental damage, or interference by third parties are not covered under this warranty. Additionally, Ken Install is not liable for any pre-existing issues with client-owned equipment that may impact the quality or performance of our installation.
6. Changes and Cancellations
Clients may request changes to the scope of work at any time before installation. However, additional charges may apply if the changes require additional materials, labour, or time. Ken Install reserves the right to decline any requests that fall outside of our expertise or service capabilities.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Ken Install respects your privacy. Any personal information collected during booking or consultations is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share client information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
8. Use of Website and Intellectual Property
All content on the Ken Install website, including text, images, logos, and videos, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any website content without written consent from Ken Install. Unauthorized use of website materials may result in legal action.
9. Limitations of Liability
While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure safe and effective installations, Ken Install is not liable for damages arising from:
- Misuse of installed equipment
- Interference or damage caused by third-party contractors
- Unforeseen site conditions affecting installation
- Issues arising from inaccurate information provided by the client
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or related to Ken Install’s services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
11. Amendments to Terms
Ken Install reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services or website signifies acceptance of any updates.
